Winter in Florence can be just as exciting as the summer. From November 2008 until February 2009 the city celebrates the chilly season with plenty to do indoors with many exhibitions, concerts and events. From mid November until end of December the city squares of Florence begin to fill will market stalls offering everything in the way of Christmas decorations and gifts.

Wrap up warm and indulge in some of the hot offerings too, as Bavarian stalls serve up steaming mugs of Gluwein and bratwursts.
